📌 How to Book a Dumpster

✅ To confirm your booking, send the word “OK” in a text message. If we do not receive your confirmation and payment, your service will not be scheduled.

✅ Payment is required at the "TIME OF BOOKING" due to past payment delays. If payment is not received, your dumpster will not be scheduled. Available payment options:

• Zelle: 980-777-9292 (“Yellow Box Dumpster”)

• Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay: Payment link will be provided

🚛 Dumpster Details & Pricing

• 12-yard dumpster (7x12x4 ft)

• Rental Period & Pricing:

• 3 days: $290

• 7 days: $360

• Extra days: $20 per day

• Weight Limit: 1.5 tons

• Overweight Fee: $75 per additional ton (proof will be provided). Payment is due via Zelle immediately after receiving the overweight notice.

📅 Delivery & Pickup

• Delivery Window: Between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on your scheduled day. We cannot provide an exact time, but the dispatcher will text you 15 minutes before arrival.

• Placement Instructions: You must decide in advance where you want the dumpster placed. If no specific instructions are given, our driver will place it in the most convenient spot.

• Repositioning Fee: If you ask to move the dumpster after drop-off, a $25 fee will apply per move.

• Pickup Instructions: Ensure the dumpster is not blocked by cars or other objects. If we cannot access it and you do not respond to our calls/messages, a $50 fee will be charged for the return trip.

🚫 Prohibited & Special Items

❌ Do NOT dispose of the following:

• Dirt, bricks, concrete, or toxic products – If these items are found, they will be left on your property.

• Tires & Mattresses:

• Tires: $10 per tire

• Mattresses: $20 per mattress

⚠️ Additional Fees & Policies

• Dumpster Door Policy: You must close and lock the dumpster doors properly. A $100 fee applies if left open for safety reasons.

• Extended Rental: If you need to extend your rental, you must request it at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the dumpster will be picked up as scheduled. No exceptions.

• Service Area Fees: Additional fees apply for locations outside our service area.

• Damage & Unauthorized Moving: If the dumpster is moved or damaged, a $750 fee will be charged.

🔄 Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit towards a future rental.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.

🌦️ Weather & Access Policy

• Extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, snow, etc.) may affect deliveries. Yellow Box reserves the right to reschedule without penalty.

• Customers must ensure adequate access to the delivery location. If the truck cannot access the site due to obstacles, a $50 fee will be applied for the failed delivery attempt.

🏠 Property Damage Liability

• Yellow Box is not responsible for damages to lawns, sidewalks, or driveways if the customer requests placement in a specific area.

• For additional protection, customers may place boards or plywood under the dumpster before delivery.

⏳ Driver Wait Time Fee

• If the driver cannot drop off the dumpster because the customer is not ready, a fee of $25 per 15 minutes of wait time will be applied.

📸 Photo Documentation

• For transparency, Yellow Box will take photos of the dumpster at the time of delivery and pickup.

📜 Legal Protections

• Unauthorized Use: It is unlawful for any unauthorized person to deposit garbage, trash, or any other materials in a dumpster designated for specific use. Violators may be subject to fines ranging from $50 to $250. Reference: § 9-3 Unauthorized Use of Dumpster or Trash Receptacle, Oxford, NC Code of Ordinances

• Prohibited Items: Disposal of hazardous materials is strictly regulated. Customers must adhere to local and state laws regarding prohibited items to avoid legal penalties. Reference: NC General Statutes - Chapter 130A Article 9
