📌 How to Reserve a Dumpster

✅ Payment is required at the time of reservation. No payment = no service scheduled. ✅ Confirm booking, and payment method prior to delivery.

• Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay: We’ll send you a payment link upon request

🗑️ Dumpster Details and Pricing

• Size: 12 yards (7x12x4 feet)

• Rental options:

• 2 days: $280 + taxes

• 5 days: $350 + taxes

• 15 days: $420 + taxes

• Extra day: $70 per day

• Weight limit: 1.5 tons

• Overage: $75 per extra ton (weight ticket will be provided)

🚛 Delivery and Pickup

• Delivery hours: Between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

🔴 WE CANNOT GUARANTEE AN EXACT TIME. You’ll receive a text 15 minutes before arrival.

• Placement: Please let us know in advance where to place the dumpster. If not, we’ll choose the most accessible spot.

• Relocation: If you want the dumpster moved after delivery, there’s a $25 relocation fee.

• Blocked access: If we can’t pick up the dumpster and you don’t respond, a $50 fee will apply.

⏰ Pickups are scheduled within 24–48 hours of your request, based on availability.

🗺️ Incorrect or Incomplete Address

If the address provided is incorrect or we cannot locate the property, and the customer does not send a photo, map, or clear reference, a $50 failed delivery fee will apply.

📦 Fill Limit

The dumpster must not be filled above the top edge. Overfilled containers cannot be picked up and will incur a $50 failed pickup fee.

🚫 Prohibited and Special Items

You may NOT dispose of:

• Dirt, bricks, concrete, batteries, paint, chemicals, or hazardous materials

→ These items will be left on your property and may incur extra fees if they require special handling.

Special items:

• Tires: $10 each

📋 Additional Charges

• Extra day: $70

• Overweight: $75 per ton

• Tires: $10 each

• Dumpster relocation: $25

• Failed delivery/pickup: $50

• Wait time: $25 per 15 minutes

• Dumpster door left open: $100

• Unauthorized movement or damage to dumpster: $750

⏳ Rental Extensions

Request extensions at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled pickup.

If not, the dumpster will be removed as originally scheduled.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds

• More than 24 hours notice: Full refund or credit

• Less than 24 hours notice: Non-refundable

📅 Delivery Date Changes

You may change your delivery date at no extra cost, as long as you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

⏱️ Pickup Within Rental Period

If you request pickup before your rental period ends, no additional charges apply.

💰 Early Return

If the dumpster is picked up earlier than scheduled, we’ll apply a proportional adjustment (except for 3-day minimum rentals).

🌧️ Weather & Access

In cases of extreme weather, Yellow Box may reschedule at no extra cost.

Customers must ensure clear access to the delivery area. If the truck cannot access it, a $50 fee will apply.

🏠 Property Damage

Yellow Box is not responsible for any damage if the customer requests the dumpster to be placed in a specific spot.

⚠️ If placed on grass, Yellow Box will not be held liable for any damage caused to the lawn.

👉 We recommend placing wood boards under the dumpster to help protect your property.

📸 Photo Documentation

Photos will be taken at delivery and pickup for your peace of mind and ours.

⚖️ Legal

• It is illegal for unauthorized people to place trash in a dumpster they did not rent. Fines range from $50 to $250.

• Hazardous materials are prohibited by NC state law (Chapter 130A, Article 9).
